With respect that Island Hills is a working farm you have self-guided access to the farm museum, hiking trails, some 4 wheel drive tracks, mountain biking routes and horse riding trails. There are paddocks or yards available for your horses.

Extra add on activities are available such as farm 4 wheel drive tours, guided day walks and guided heli-hiking adventures. There are options for guided day hunts for rabbits, deer or pigs, no previous experience or licenses required. Those booking a stay at Huntaway Homestead have access to these options at very low rates. Catering options

You can bring your own food and drink to self cater with access to full kitchen, dining and BBQ facilities. Alternatively you can choose from our catering services; homecooked evening meals, continental style breakfasts and packed lunches (GF, DF and Vegetarian options).
